I have a Diablo II gold demon that has been hardly used , it looks like it came right out of the box.
It has been sent in and gone over and all is well.
The question that I have is how good do you think it will work finding Nuggets in the Alaska region ?
It has the standard wide scan coil that it came with so that is the only coil I have for this detector at this time .

This machine will not use any of the newer type coils from Tesoro as they have gone to another type of plug .

Any ideas on how this machine will work in your area ! I am bringing it along when we move to Anchorage next month so I wanted to see if any person here had any ideas on this and if I should look for other coils that would fit it.
Anyway thanks for you help on this .

The order in which they came was the Diablo, Diablo II, then the Diablo ÁMax. For the coil fitment on the ÁMax, any Lobo, Vaquero type will work.

The Diablo was a real bang-for-the-buck detector and I wish Tesoro had not discontinued it. It will not hit really tiny stuff but in general will do just fine in Alaska.

Thank you Steve . At least I know I am not shooting in the dark now.
There is not much data around on this detector , I have the manual and that is about it . But in using it around here it seems to be just fine and I am able to dig targets. Just no Gold here .
