I bought a gold bug pro just last month and I'm putting it to the test. I brought it with me to the northslope so I could hunt in the creeks around our facility, but I have not found anything except some hot rocks and some junk. Has anyone had any luck finding the yellow stuff up here on the slope?

Rough generality but gold geology and oil geology are totally different things. What makes it good for one tends to be bad for the other.

Thanks for the info steve. I'll keep messing around up here until freeze-up, but it's time to head back to the claim in MONTANA.

In all the documents I've looked through online I haven't seen any records of gold north of the continental divide in the Brooks Range, or farther north. Anyone know any differently?
