Due to feedback on the annouced ski stance a decision has been made to narrow the adjustable stance to 38" - 40" instead of 41" - 43". This of course also narrows the vehicle overall width. Changes have been applied to AMDS website HERE (http://www.akmining.com/snow/2011_ski-doo_summit_freeride_e-tec_800r.htm)

OK, they are now half way there, now get them to make it a 146 and it will truly be a "Freeride". Until then it's a Hill Climb with BNG. A 154 with a wide front end??? What next - a sort track with a narrow front end? Does the BRP R&D department actually ride sleds or do they just live in a vacuum?

Look at every forum on the internet - it's 2:1 in favor of a 146 over the 154.

i dont agree, most of my friends that ride a short track (146) are very excited about the longer track and racer tunnel. but the skinny front end is a good choice.

This is why they need a 146 and 154 Freeride.

Lets not forget about the poor little 137!

That's right! that is what got the Freeride started in the first place. And a plaid wrap - they need a plaid wrap.

I just got my Free Ride wrap Irondog, You may need to come back from HI early to see it, highly important! I want to clarify also that the Free Ride is availabe in BOTH front end widths, the narrow and the wide! So everyone wins! Except for those looking for the shorter version like the 146 or 137. If the 154 is too long for you, check out the BCX we built this year, at 141 inches with all the race bracing and the ETEC 800 I dont thing there is a better sled out there! And all you have to do is Spring Check the Backcountry X and we can do the rest!
