Three lil nuggets I picked up with my GMT yesterday, Not much but it's better than getting skunked. Total weight is 11 grains. I was detecting an old hydro mined area that didn't have the usual massive amount of rhyolite or andesite, and these diggings appeared to be shallow, no more that 20' deep, from what I have read, they were left before being payed out...

Nice Finds. How deep were they? Were you running standard settings?

Two were buried about 3" down in a wide clay filled crevice on some bedrock. The one on my finger was under large flat vein like chunk of quartz, I got real excited on that one but as soon as I moved the quartz I realized my error. Haha No, I wasn't really using standard settings... Auto trac, Gain of 9, SAT speed of 2x...

Good job with the GMT. Always fun checking out new places. Now see if you can find the rest of what they left.

Good luck,

Kenny

Yeah, it does the heart good to find some chunky gold every now and again, just gotta find some big stuff now! If only I had the means and ability to hit the spot with wash plant and excavator! Haha
