Hi,

If you snowmachine in Southcentral Alaska then you have to bookmark this site - http://www.alaskasnow.org/ (http://www.alaskasnow.org/)

The Alaska Avalanche Information Center hosts statewide avalanche bulletins, advisories, and snow, weather, and avalanche observations. They also conduct avalanche training classes with upcoming classes in February, March and April. in Valdez and Thompson Pass. You can find more information on their classes at http://www.alaskasnow.org/Education

Be safe out there!

Steve this is a great site, one of my favorite links I check before any ride and even just during the week to monitor conditions is www.avalanche.org

This site actually will direct you to the same place as Steve's link too. We know the guys well over at the National Forest and they do a great job using their Ski-Doos to get out and monitor the conditions to help keep us all safe.

Speaking of safe, be sure to check this out if you plan on getting out this weekend as there has been a lot of weather down south and conditions could change rapidly. Get out and have some fun!

The Etec Demo rides in Moose Pass will be on the lake so Avalanche Danger should be minimal!

Thank you for the site information. I have put it in my favorites. I would like to attend one of the classes offered. The more information I can get the better off I will be when out there riding.
