I have a 2008 800R Summit and I was wondering if you can add a fuel additive to get rid of water? I don't know if it is there I just want to make sure.

Water in fuel is the A number one cause of most sled run-ability problems. The best and worst thing to do is to use some HEET (YELLOW BOTTLE ONLY) to remove the moisture. If you do use HEET make sure to use the very minimum amount required to get the job done and try not to get in the habit of using it. In small doses you will be just fine. Make sure to allow the additive to work its way through the fuel system before trying to start the machine again.

Good luck and stay warm!

For the future they make, and we sell fuel catalyst that can help reduce moisture commonly found fuel tanks. They are cheap, effective and last a long time.
